Just before we get onto this week's inductee into the YouTube HALL OF FAME - you may have noticed that this blog has now got it's own domain. The YouTube HALL OF FAME now lives at www.videotoes.com so please update all your book marks and subscriptions. And please if you like this blog and thinks it has some merit please tell your friends about it!!! Now onto the next inductee...
3. FREE HUGS CAMPAIGN featuring music by the Sick Puppies
Juan Mann, inspired by seeing people meeting and greeting each other at the airport, set about getting the feel good feeling in the general community and went out into the streets of Sydney armed with only a sign that said 'Free Hugs', hundreds responded to the offer and the outpouring of joy and friendship of this action was then set to the music of the Sick Puppies and put on YouTube for all to see. While Juan has had his campaign halted by over officious public liability laws, the youtube video has been watched by nearly 25,000,000 people and is among the most favoured and commented on clips of all time. It is a worthy addition to our YOUTUBE - HALL OF FAME
